A Pennsylvania mom is suing TikTok and its guardian agency ByteDance after her 10-year-old daughter died whereas trying a viral “blackout challenge” she seen on the app.
According to the lawsuit, on December 7, 2021, 10-year-old Nylah Anderson was “extremely suffocated” whereas attempting the viral downside, “encouraging the user to restrain himself with a belt, purse string or similar until he passed out.”
